Fundraising, Costumes for Concert Choir & NYC

Only a couple more spots remain at the table to sell Music Booster Car Raffle tickets during Friday's football game vs. EC. Let me know if you want one of those spots.

Pending school board approval, HS choirs will be going to NYC during spring break. The parent meeting is Wednesday, Sept 3rd at 6pm in the HS music room. All information about the trip will be shared at that time.

Next week are our measuring dates for Concert Choir new members. Stop in at the music room in the Activity Center to see Mama Mel and her costume parent posse either on Wednesday, Sept 3rd between 6-9pm or on Saturday, Sept. 6th between 10am-1pm. Remember to bring your costume payment to the measuring session.

Ford Drive 4 your School Event

Don't forget the Ford Drive 4 your School event on Saturday, April 19th. If you are 18 or over, bring your license and drive a new Ford vehicle. If you are under 18, please encourage a parent, neighbor or older relative to go and drive a car or truck. Ford will donate $20 to our Music Boosters for every test drive taken on Saturday between 9am and 4pm at the High School Activity Center.
If you are a choir student in Junior School or High School you can earn IWAA service points for helping our boosters with this event. Just write a note saying you worked a shift at Ford (put it in your pocket), go to the Activity Center in your Harrison Voices or other Harrison gear, find a music booster parent and ask to help. They will assign you to work concessions or the car wash (wherever they need the assistance). After you work a 3 or 4 hour shift, THANK your music booster supervisor and then ask either Mr. Downey, Ms. Hacker or Mr/Mrs Pack to sign your note (because I will recognize their signatures). Then on Monday, show me the signed note so that I can put your service points in the grade book. We only have two big service events in the Spring so I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.
