Coffee Peddlar & May Cabaret tickets

On Wednesday, April 29th we will have some students playing at the Coffee Peddlar in downtown Harrison between 4:30- 6:00pm.  They will be playing covers and some original music.  Any students who stop by and listen will earn IWAA points for listening to live music.  Speaking of listening to live music, if you attend the Spring Musical "The Sound of Music" this Friday or Saturday, bring Mrs. Purdy your ticket or program so she can give you IWAA points for attending a live musical performance.
Our Spring Choir Concert is Tuesday, May 12th (all choirs grades 7-12) and Friday, May 15th is May Cabaret.  Tickets for May Cabaret are on sale now: pre-sale Dinner & Show tickets are $12 ($10 senior citizen) while dinner + show tickets at the door are $15 - so get yours now!  We will only sell a limited number of dinner tickets and once we are out of tickets then we will only offer "show only" tickets.  You can purchase at the HS office, from any Show Choir or Jazz Band student or online at http://HarrisonMusicBoosters.com

Junior High Solo & Ensemble contest results

Today during the OMEA Solo & Ensemble contest for Junior School students held at Madeira Middle School Tatum Jackson earned an Excellent rating for singing the mezzo-soprano solo "Scarborough Fair", Becky Mason earned an Excellent rating for singing "Wiegenlied" in German and Charlie Purdy earned a Superior rating for singing "Amazing Grace" in the baritone register and a Superior rating for playing C.P.E. Bach's Solfeggio in C minor on the piano.  It takes courage to stand up in front of a judge by yourself and perform.  Great job everyone!
